Our MONTAC HUNTER LR is a 2.5-inch diving crankbait designed specifically for coastal steelhead rivers, but its versatility makes in effective on multiple fish species including bass and walleye. It dives 6-9 feet depending on fishing line type, retrieve speed, or current speed. Weighing in at a little over a half ounce it can be cast good distances and across many rivers from bank to bank. Its rounded bill allows it to bang bottom structure without getting hung up… in fact it will run horizontal as it hits a sandy bottom on retrieve!!! It has an extreme “hunting” action and vibration that can be felt on the rod tip reminiscent of the legendary Storm “Wiggle Wart”!!!
This model has a uv fluorescent green body with red tiger stripes and matching red throat patch.
